Acacia knows she is named for an African tree that grows in the Savannah, but no matter how hard she tries, she just can’t figure out the basics of gardening or plants. She has the exact opposite of a green thumb. After an upsetting accident lands her grandmother in the hospital, Acacia decides to attempt to take care of her garden while she recovers. But unlike her grandmother, Acacia’s mom doesn’t understand her or her desire to keep the garden well tended. Acacia must make a hard decision—will she listen to the voice of reason or her heart?
